After All...

A lost time since I last posted. Time always seem to fly by. Now it is already into the second mth of 2009. Well I am still the same not much changed.

Movement is what I need. Changes are what I hope for. For better or worst, A step at a time. You told me to try. Needless I did. But it seems that I have failed again. Maybe it is really not fated. Not fated at all...

Farewell My Comrade

After 5 years, suddenly she left me. But not without warning, she seem to be sick for the past mth or so. All sneezing and coughing. Making all the "slurring" sounds. I feel sad. After all she has accompanied me for past 5 years, through the late nitez, early days, weepy dramas, tough assignments, tight projects, happy comedies, flashy webbys, gossipy msn, never ending OS updates, complex dual boot, additive games, wacky varieties shows and so on. Without you, I may have never grad.

Early last year she was already ill. But I swap out her brains for a new one. Re-input her memories of our happier times. And viola. The great dame is back. This time it seem she nose is a little choked. Well I can still remove her brains again. Then at least I will still have the memories all intact. It has been a good 5 years. I don't think I will sent her for any op to awaken her again. Do not want to prolong her suffering again. At the current speed that she runs it is tough for her to catch up with the other younger, slimmer and faster gals out there.

May you RIP. You will always be on mine mind.

Take the Plunge

I am so lost. Went for this course then that course. Then this happens and that happens. Busy busy busy, but at times not sure what am am busy about. Brain is totally wasted. Mind often wonders off. Events I want, do not come. Event I do not want flock like bee to honey. Oh. Life is so often about should you or should you not. I must say that I am a "scaredy cat". I often think about this, think about that. What might happen, what will happen. It may not be in mine control at times but it seems I ponder over it for such a long time at times. I wonder did I lose a lot because of mine indecisiveness? Maybe I really did... May be I should just take the plunge. Heck care about the effects? Oh I am at it again... Seems like it is build into me like DNA. I just can't do it.

The Black Screen...

After the blue screen of death, now comes the black screen of death? Ok well maybe not death but more like a constant notification. Yes. A new WGA that is for WinXP is now avaliable. It will check to see if your current system is a genuine copy. If not it will change your desktop to a black screen. you can change it back but every 60 mins it will revert back to the black screen of constant notification that the current copy is not a genuine copy. Oh...If you are not using XP and is on Vista, well then goo for you cause it comes pre-shipped in the Vista OS.

For Everything There Is A First Time...

Yes. Today was mine first time. Come early next year will be mine second time and to longest on to date. Today was quite ok. A little slow but still ok. Mind was in a shutdown mode so was the body. But after that was busy with some stations which I have seen before. Towards the end was the worst. Legs almost gave way. Almost...What to expect? More I think. Well it is something I cannot control, so why bother to lose sleep over it? Just take what that comes...

New Gift Idea?

Yes...On 2 Oct, after all the rumors Nintendo launches the new DS. Which is call DSi removing the GBA slot and adding two cams. Not forgeting the SD card slot. Bringing gaming to a new level. It will retail at ¥18,900 (US $180) from Nov 1 in japan in white or black. Other countries? Spring 09. Also boosting a larger screen of 3.25” from 3”and a slightly longer stulys at 92mm from 87.5mm . With this the DSi is 4 mm wider and 1 mm longer than the DS Lite. Packed with a build in audio player/editor, photo taking/editor, wifi web browser with a shopping options and the usual Pichat but at 4 grams lighter. The DSi also went on a diet and managed to trim off 3 mm, from 21.9 mm to now 18.9 mm thick, compared to the DS about 12% thinner. With a slightly faster battery charging time of 2.5 hrs from 3 hrs but a huge drop in usage time of 8-12hrs compared to DS Lite's 10-15hrs @ low brightness. The new DSi has 5 levels of brightness setting. Oh it is still dual screen but only one is touch. So when will you get one for me?

You got donut, I got coffee

Yes yes. Things from downunder are coming!!! First came donut, (well ok they came from the US. But I got to know them in Aust.) Now comes Campos!!! One of the best in Aust. I must admit that I am more of a tea person. But during my days of slogging over the books. A cup from Campos will really brighten up your day... I felt that the cuppa at times could really calm me down. The location was also great just beside my hostel. The place with the old wooden chairs... the stained glass... the smell no no the aroma... closing mine eyes I can still feel it. I really need it man. Till that year 04 I was still more of a tea drinker. Now I still am a tea person. But if that was ever a choice. No doubts Campos will be it. Be it a Flat White or Mocha. A cuppa from Campos sure beats any tea.

At first the was none...

Now we have a few. Yes. Our very first gold medal from the Beijing Paralympics. All thanks to Swimmer Yip Pin Xiu. She who suffers from muscular dystrophy won gold in the 50-meters backstroke with her new world and Paralympic record time of 58.75 seconds. She also clinched silver and a new world and Paralympic record of 57.04 seconds in the 50-meters freestyle. Not to forget rider Laurentia Tan who despite her profound deafness and cerebral palsy aced two bronze medals in equestrian. Your hardwork has paid off. You manage to overcome the difficulties both mentally and physical to that I feel you are already a winner in your own right. To you two I give my deepest respect.
